OUR MISSION

ENSURE OUR NATION'S PATRIOTS SUCCESSFULLY TRANSITION FROM ACTIVE & RESERVE SERVICE

OUR HISTORY

Battle Tested was born in November 2016, when founder Casey Holliday saw an opportunity to turn experience into purpose.
What started as a small, personal project was never about business. It was about rebuilding camaraderie, discipline, and direction after leaving the uniform behind. From 2016 to 2019, Battle Tested lived as a passion project — a gathering point for those searching for their why. It became a space where veterans, fighters, and hard-working people could stand shoulder to shoulder again, united by structure, pride, and shared purpose.

In 2019, that purpose became a mission. Battle Tested Security officially launched with a clear objective: to ensure that our nation’s service members have a place to successfully transition into civilian life. The goal wasn’t just employment — it was empowerment. The company built a model rooted in leadership, mentorship, and structure — bringing the same integrity and accountability learned on the battlefield to the private sector. Veterans now had a place to belong, to lead, and to continue serving with purpose.

But the first major test came almost immediately. When COVID-19 hit in March 2020, the live event and security industries came to a standstill.
Venues closed, contracts were canceled, and Battle Tested — like much of the nation — was forced to shut its doors. What could have been the end became a defining moment. Instead of folding, the team took a tactical pause. Plans were redrawn, systems rebuilt, and the mission refined.

By March 2021, Battle Tested had relaunched stronger and more focused than ever. The mission remained the same, but the conviction had deepened.
This wasn’t just a company; it was a cause. The relaunch marked a rebirth built on resilience, adaptability, and service. From a one-man vision in 2016 to a national force for veteran empowerment, Battle Tested stands as proof that purpose forged in adversity can build something unbreakable.

It’s more than a name, it’s a way of life: Better People. Higher Purpose. Battle Tested.

Coming home from war was the hardest fight of my life. I faced pain, loss, and darkness I never expected. But from that struggle, Battle Tested was born.
My mission is to make sure no veteran fights that battle alone.”
-CEO AND FOUNDER CASEY HOLLIDAY.
